![]() So basically, REIS does fixed content like characters and storyline much better, but Curious Expedition has better random content. ![]() You stay in Paris in between expeditions, buy/upgrade equipment, recruit crew, etc. Curious Expedition does have a world map. This appears to be the main feature the CU devs focused on, and they did very good. Curious Expedition has a better random mission generator than REIS imo. The closest curious expedition comes to this is you can sometimes pay natives to fight for you, or use the dice challenge system to resolve a handful of encounters without fighting. Most battles in curious expedition are just straight combat, and dont have a friendly/devious/hostile resolution. Crew members in Curious Expedition do not have personalities. This is different from REIS where you have scouts and scientists and such, but each individual scout and individual scientist is also unique. ![]() Any cook is identical to any other cook, but cooks are different from soldiers. Maybe nothing.- All the crew members in Curious Expedition are generic. Unable to click team members, management/inventory.Īttempted to save and exit to restart. Member lost sanity and was sent to a sanity event where it was restored to 100%.Īfter defeating hyenas prompted to level up character. (this may in fact be where the situation began) Unable to click party management / inventory to eat. Half way there noticed sanity getting low. Left the Shaman and proceeded to the camp as requested. ![]() Was prompted to visit pale face camp (or something along those lines).ĭiscovered Shaman hut and went to investigate.Ĭould not see Shaman inventory due to being covered by "Visit Camp." Left the first tribal camp and headed North. ![]() Thank you for your response and for looking into it.įrom memory, here is the sequence of events that led to this situation: ![]()
